Title: SAP BW Developer Location: USA-NJ: NEW JERSEY-MARLTON Job Number: 1300IZ9 Job Requirements : SAP Experience Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience working with the SAP product module identified below with active participation in 1 full life cycle implementation. Relevant Work Experience Minimum 5 years of overall business, programming or consulting experience. Additional 3 years of work experience can be substituted for lack of degree. Duties and Responsibilities (including all essential job functions) SAP professionals are part of a diverse team, which is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that combine business processes with technology to help our government clients achieve the highest levels of performance SAP BW Developers have advanced programming knowledge in SAP development and testing, full knowledge of SAP overall, and firm understanding of SAP architecture. The BW Developer is involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including development of specifications, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support, The SAP BW Developer works closely with our functional configuration consultants to ensure accuracy and completeness of functional requirements, creates technical specifications and the development of programs according to specifications. The BW Developer is responsible for technical component delivery and participates in full integration testing and assumes responsibility for testing the application code from a technical perspective to verify that programs follow standards and meets technical specifications. The BW Developer will actively participate in work groups and work sessions with functional and technical consultants on the team. The specific assignment will be as part of a team of 8 SAP professionals who have detailed knowledge of the Army LMP Solution and business processes across a number of functional areas of the solution. The assignment will be to provide the BW and LMP EDW knowledge for this effort. Critical Knowledge Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years working in a SAP implementation environment as a consultant or a SME in a project implementation team. In addition, the candidate should have worked on one complete life-cycle implementation. This individual should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers to determine business requirements, and have good business process knowledge of how these processes impact the solution. Hands-on configuration experience in the core module identified below is key and the ability to demonstrate that they have depth in their core module of expertise and breathe across other integration points of the SAP modules. The individual should be capable of leading small teams of 3-5 resources and able to deliver solutions with minimal guidance from project managers. Strong writing and documentations skills required. Critical Skills Must have : * SAP Core Experience in the BW Module and one or more or the following modules: FI, CO, PS, SD, MM, PP, IM, WM, LO, LE, or QM Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: * ABAP Objects * BADI’s * List Viewer (ALV) * Dialog Programming * SAP R/3 certification in Release 4.6C or later and SAP BW certification in Release 3.5 or later is a plus * Full-time onsite at project location in Marlton, NJ * Willingness to travel to other client locations as required to conduct training / support or other needs Essential Job Functions * Leads a cross-functional team that analyzes, designs, and implements the architecture of projects in order to meet solution needs; leverages resources from different teams to ensure that customer needs are met. * Assists in the analysis of new and existing architectures to ensure engineering platforms meet reliability expectations to enhance customer satisfaction. * Assists in the design of overall system and solution architecture, system integration, and implementation strategy to deliver an integrated solution which meet customer needs. * Generates conceptual, logical, and physical architectures, system documents, testing analyses, test plans, and risk assessments for a single client to ensure sound architecture which meets client needs. * Identifies existing and potential issues and design matters in overall system and solution architecture; implements solutions to ensure that best practices and processes are followed and enhanced. * Assists in researching technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology, or related field preferred * Four or more years of solution analysis experience * Experience working with client business processes * Experience working with the technology industry and technology architecture * Experience working with company products, operating systems, and programming languages Other Qualifications * Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients * Good analytical and problem solving skills * Good communication skills * Good skills in data administration, design and architecture * Leadership and organizational skills * Ability to work in a team environment * Willingness to travel Job: Business/Solutions Architecture
